Miamité : nom féminin, désignant la qualité gustative d’un plat, tellement bon qu’on a envie de dire “miam!” du premier coup d’œil à la dernière bouchée. C’est le mot qu’à inventé mon fils de 8 ans hier soir pour exprimer à quel point l’île flottante qui était devant lui était… Miam!!!
J’ai adoré ce mot instantanément. Sa sonorité un peu érudite, alors que c’est un mot si simple, évident. Bizarre que cela n’ait pas encore été inventé!
Je n’avais pas de photo digne de ce nom de cette île flottante d’anthologie (pour les connaisseurs, celle du Madrid, à Guéthary), mais j’ai instantanément pensé à cette photo floue pour illustrer la miamité, prise à Brooklyn cet été. C’était un très bon moment, une très bonne glace, qui invitait à la dégustation dès le premier regard… un bon exemple de nourriture à fort taux de miamité!
Yummity… New term minted this week-end by my 8 year old son. He created it to express his feeling when food is so delicious, so yummy, from first glance to last spoon… I love that word! Sounds almost erudite, whereas it’s so simple!
I do not have a proper picture of the floating island which made him create this word, but I thought about this one, a little blurred but I love it because it reminds me of this oh-so-yummy moment, in Brooklyn. The colourful ice-cream was so enticing at first glance, and leaved up to it’s promise! A true example of pure yummity!
